Did you know that it has 27 no constituency appointed appointees European Commissioner's and two of them are no constituency appointed appointees Ursula Von der leyen and Josep Borrell, unelected and unaccountable to no one! The problem is with these kinds of coalitions is that the views are so wide apart that it wouldn't take much in new future policies for it to all fall apart. It's very likely that many policies within the coalition will get watered down to win enough support to get things done, or if any of the coalition partners play hard ball, it could be enough for the government to fall apart. It's going to be interesting to see over the coming months and years but I suspect it's not going to be as big of a deal as some think it will be because there are too many voices pulling in many directions and it wouldn't take much for them to fall out. Either way, moderate parties are successful because they moderate their policies to be more accommodating with more of the public and more people in government, basically, when it comes to the crunch of pushing for policy change, I suspect that's when things will get difficult in that there will likely be a lot of compromises and watering down of the policies, so much so that I don't think this is an issue for the EU at all, no different from how many of the other so-called radical parties that gained power have not really been that big of a deal throughout the EU. Still, we'll see over the coming months and years, but we've heard this time and time again, Italy is a prime example and yet, you wouldn't think it but the Italian government comes across as quite moderate that gets along quite well with the EU, probably because political reality kicks in on what they can realistically do, after all, it's far easier to talk on what you want to do when not in power, it's another story when in power that you have to be careful on your policy choices and have to keep the voting public onside, which most are moderates.

I do not understand how there are still countries that argue here. It's the disgusting reality of the public goods dilemma... "We want the benefits, but if others pay for it and Ukraine still wins, we win double." The Ukraine is fighting for maintaining it's independence and is representing democracy and freedom in this conflict. Letting Russia win can simply not be an option for the EU, the US, Austrilia, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan etc. Because that would create the precedent of a dictatorship being allowed to change borders by military force in the 21st century. And looking at Russia and China, this is not an acceptable outcome for anyone who values their peace and freedom. As a German citizen, yes we do quite a lot, but ffs send them everything we have. I don't care if the Bundeswehr has nothing left in terms of equipment. The jobs created for making the replacement push our economy anyways. They are fighting our war, it's their young men dying for our common ideas. Money and equipment is the least we can do. I am actually in the minority that thinks, we should just send our own soldiers to help Ukraine return to the borders that Russia promised to respect for eternity in the 1990s. And any "Russian-German" that still watches RT and protests "for peace" should be offered a generous separation package to return to what they apparently believe to be paradise. All they'd have to do is forever give up their claim to German (or other EU) citizenship. Take up rate of that offer would be too small to measure.
